♡ ICYMI - a note from Allie ♡
Jordan and I landed in Istanbul, and I already don’t want to leave. We’re staying at Soho House (which is stunning), and I’m trying to soak in every detail. From the call to prayer echoing at sunrise to the sensory overload of the Grand Bazaar (where yes, I bought something that is fake designer (a little YSL raffia tote) and let me tell you negotiating the price might have been a life highlight).
We visited the Blue Mosque today and I genuinely got chills. Something about standing in a space that sacred while navigating a life that feels so tender really hit me.
This City is magic and I definitely will need another trip here to really explore. Next up we have Croatia & Montenegro. Today is our 2nd wedding anniversary, I truly cannot believe how quickly time is flying. We are crawling into bed early tonight to watch our wedding video (LOL).
Love you all and thank you for being here and supporting The Chemo Club ❤️

♡ Allie’s Non-Toxic Travel Essentials ♡
A clean girl’s guide to surviving long flights, new cities, and inflammation!
Pre-Trip Prep:
Blowout before the flight – Night before or day-of. One less thing to stress about.
Dry brushing + cold shower – Lymphatic boost before takeoff. I will not hop on a flight unless I do this.
Peppermint capsules – For bloat and mid-air nausea.
Activated charcoal – Airport food insurance policy.
In-Flight Wellness:
Juna supplements – For digestion - and let me tell you, THEY WORK!!
Bumpsuit Waist Trainer - Okay, this is going to sound crazy but if you’re super sensitive to bloating like me (especially on flights), I wear a waist-trainer during my flight. I know, I know but i’m telling you it works. This is a GOLDEN hack I learned from supermodel, Nicole Trufino.
Electrolytes (like LMNT or Cure) – Hydration!!! Drink this your entire flight and you will feel like a million bucks when you land.
Silk eye mask + neck wrap – Sleep ritual in a middle seat!!
Blue light glasses – Especially for night flights when you are watching a movie. This will save you from a headache and many people swear this also helps with jet lag? Not sure I have personally seen that effect yet, but I’ll keep you posted!
Skincare + Body:
Though I’m not one for a 22 step skincare routine on a plane, here are some favs I keep on me just incase…
Three Ships eye patches
Ilia - The Face Base Milk
Non-toxic SPF (like Kinfield or Saie)
Travel-size clean toothpaste (RiseWell, Boka, or David’s)
Mini humidifier – Hotel air is dry and this mini humidifier will help you achieve a good night sleep.
Food + Extras:
Perfect Amino - amino acids containing protein & collagen, have a glass of this every morning. My hair and nails have never been stronger or longer!
Herbal tea sachets – Chamomile or ginger every night before bed.
Protein bars without junk (like Be Well by Kelly or Truvani) when you are starving on your historic old town tour and don’t have time to stop at a restaurant.

THIS WEEKS MOOD BOARD

♡ Things We’re Talking About This Week ♡
Kourtney Kardashian Drops Libido Gummies… But We’re Reading the Label
Her brand Lemme just launched libido-enhancing supplements, but the ingredient list is heavy on proprietary blends and light on transparency. Sexy branding doesn’t equal science-backed wellness.
Big Energy Drink Brands Face Scrutiny Over Teen Safety
Pediatric health experts are calling for tighter regulation on energy drinks marketed to kids and teens. With stimulants, artificial sweeteners, and undisclosed “natural flavors,” some formulas contain more than 200mg of caffeine per can and zero FDA oversight!
Oat Milk Is Causing a Scene
Most oat milks spike your blood sugar, contain seed oils, pesticides and emulsifiers that can trigger inflammation. If you’re in treatment, post-op, or just healing skip the oat bar latte. Better options below!
♡ Quick Swaps
Oat Milk → Three Trees or MALK
Energy Drink → Sound Sparkling Yerba Mate, MatchaBar, or Element
Fragrance → Ourside or DedCool
Toothpaste → RiseWell, Boka, or David’s Natural

♡ The Chemo Club POV: Tyrer-Cuzick Score ♡
I was watching Olivia Munn on The Daily Show when she said something that shook me: she was diagnosed with breast cancer despite having no lump, no family history, and a normal mammogram.
What caught it? Her OB-GYN ran something called the Tyrer-Cuzick model (also known as the IBIS score) a breast cancer risk assessment tool that goes far beyond standard screenings.
I’d never heard of it. But that interview hit hard because how many women, like Olivia, are walking around thinking they’re low risk just because no one looked deeper?
It’s a detailed questionnaire that looks at:
Age
Breast density
Hormonal history
Family and reproductive background
Family History
My score came back in the red zone:

This means I’m considered high risk. Now, I am not in full panic mode because 3 months ago I went to Eve Wellness where I had breast imaging donw and thank the Lord nothing looked suspicious.
This is an empowering test because now I know to monitor more closely, ask better questions, and be proactive about screenings and prevention!
If you’re reading this: ask your doctor about the Tyrer-Cuzick model or just take the test yourself!
You don’t need a family history to advocate for yourself and early detection saves lives!
xoxox,
Allie
